What you'll be doing:

• Develop and Maintain: Scalable, high-performance database structures.
• Code Development: Work with SQL and pgSQL, write Bash scripts, and optimize database execution using advanced techniques.
• Advanced-Data Handling: Work with distributed data (Citus), partitioned data (Partman), and bitmaps.
• Feature Implementation: Implement and test features according to the development roadmap.
• Task Management: Conduct code reviews, merge code, and manage tasks using Git tools and pgAdmin editor.
• Data Export: Export data (XLSX, CSV, JSON) efficiently and on a scale.
• Optimization: Review SQL queries and optimize performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with teams to implement solutions across multiple systems.
• Performance Enhancement: Identify bottlenecks and implement database performance improvements.
• Documentation: Document architectural decisions and system updates comprehensively.

What we expect from you:

• Expertise in SQL, particularly with PostgreSQL.
• Experience in designing and managing high-performance, scalable databases.
• Advanced knowledge of database optimization and query-tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in tools like Git and pgAdmin.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred).
• SCALA experience (preferred but not required).
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on technical challenges.
• Strong English communication skills.
